My name is Kevin Hawkins.

I have over 18 years of experience in design. Starting with a background in print design and advertising, then moving into the digital age with web design and development. I have a keen eye for good design that works well and clearly conveys meaning.

I like clean and simple design that does not confuse the target audience and is also pleasing to the eye. I create UI/UX to work the same way. Whether designing for a website navigation or for a small web app, user interface and experience is key.

Clean CSS and web standards of usability are also important to me in the creative process. It does not matter how well something looks if it does not function well. Correct use of CSS and javascript libraries such as jQuery also shorten web page load times and can add to a positive visitor experience.
